Passengers travelling through Winnipeg Richardson International Airport will now encounter new CT X-ray screening technology that promises faster, more convenient security checks, the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) said Wednesday.

The installation is part of CATSA’s multi-year national strategy to modernize equipment and improve both security and the passenger experience across the country.
