Canadians planning trips to major U.S. national parks will pay more than triple the current cost for an annual pass starting next year under new “America-first” pricing announced by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, the annual America the Beautiful pass will remain US$80 for U.S. residents but will rise to US$250 for nonresidents. The pass covers entry for one vehicle and up to four adults. Children 16 and under remain free. The new fee amounts to about $351 Canadian.
