THE List magazine has unveiled its 2025 “Hot 100”, rounding up Scotland’s top cultural contributors of this year.
Established in 2003, The List’s Hot 100 has celebrated arts and culture across Scotland, celebrating emerging local artists, international hits and indie companies for their contributions to cultural entertainment in the nation.
Those eligible are Scots across the world who are working on creative projects, and non-Scots who have contributed to the cultural landscape in Scotland.
Scottish Bafta winner Laura Carreira was crowned on the lists top spot for her Edinburgh -set drama On Falling.
The Portuguese-born filmmaker was joined by the BBC Introducing’s Artist of the Year, Jacob Alon, and Scottish Ballet’s choreographer in residence, Sophie Laplane, in the top three.
