A SCOTTISH rock band has been forced to postpone their US tour due to an issue with their visas.

Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil has informed fans that the tour, set to start in Los Angeles next week, has been postponed due to an error with their visas.

In a video on social media, Neil said "Some f***ing genius put the wrong start date into our work visa, so when we received our visas in the last couple of days, we realised it doesn't begin until after our tour is meant to finish.

"We've been in touch with four or five immigration lawyers, we've been in touch with Congress.

"There's [nothing] any of them can do to help."
