Cynthia Erivo got a serious boost during her Thanksgiving Day performance.

On Thursday morning, the actress hit the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. She opened the iconic parade with a rendition of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good.”

For her performance, the “Harriet” star donned platform boots . Her bronze boots were completely adorned in gold and bronze crystals, adding a sparkly effect with every step. The shoes also featured a thick platform base that added at least 2 extra inches to the overall height, plus a thin stiletto heel that reached at least 6 inches.
