An Aldi customer has been left completely gobsmacked after witnessing the price of a tub of Heroes.

The shopper, who shared their find on social media, was browsing around the supermarket when he noticed a large 700g box of Heroes chocolates on the shelf.

Now, it is not unusual to see Heroes, Quality Street or even Celebrations in the shops at this time of the year, but what did seem particularly out of the blue for food reviewer, @maneatstingz, was the price of this particular item.

He captioned his TikTok video: "I'm tripping or does that say £11.99 for 700g of Heroes??"

The customer zoomed in on the large tub in the supermarket, with the label on the shelf highlighting the price was actually after a discount.
