TOWN OF COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (WKOW) — One person was killed in a crash involving a semitruck Thursday at County Highway N and County Highway MN.

The crash was reported around 9:05 a.m. between a semitruck and another vehicle, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic was rerouted for several hours for investigation and reconstruction.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office after family notification.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
