Three Calgary police officers have been accused of sexual misconduct and removed from duty after an investigation into two separate incidents.

The investigation, which was led by CPS with oversight by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT), began in January 2025 when someone reported an officer meeting with women while on duty and attempting to have sexual contact with them.

As a result, Const. Adam McBride has been charged with four counts of breach of trust under the Criminal Code of Canada. McBride, a 14-year member, was fired from CPS on Wednesday, the police agency stated. He will next appear in court on Jan. 7.
