Three men from the GTA, one of whom was out on a release order , are facing a slew of charges after a bust by the Toronto Police drug squad.

Police said the charges stem from the drug squad’s Project B3, which began in September and aimed to investigate people who were allegedly distributing illicit drugs in Toronto and Durham Region.

During the investigation, three males were allegedly found to have been involved in the trafficking of drugs throughout the GTA.

That led to the drug squad — with help from the Emergency Task Force, K9 unit and 14 Division major crime unit — to execute four search warrants Monday in Toronto and another search in Durham Region.

Another three search warrants were executed on three vehicles that were seized for further examination.
