ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-28.
This Turkey Day matchup is an NFL tradition as both teams competed for the John Madden Thanksgiving Day trophy.
The Chiefs got off to a quick start. Rashee Rice brought in a 27-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in a two-play drive to go up 7-0. The Cowboys eventually responded as Dak Prescott threw a 15-yard TD pass to CeeDee Lamb.
Kansas City ended the quarter with a last-second two-yard pass from Mahomes to Travis Kelce to seal the 14-7 lead going into the second.
