BUFFALO, N.Y. — Western New Yorkers looking for a family outing beyond holiday shopping will have plenty of options starting Friday, as several major seasonal attractions reopen or continue across the Buffalo area.
The Buffalo Holiday Markets will open for the season, offering an outdoor marketplace filled with vendors, artisan crafters and festive activities. Organizers say the event provides a seasonal getaway for those ready to get out of the house with family.
Also opening for the holiday season is Poinsettias After Dark at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, giving visitors a chance to escape the cold and explore the greenhouse illuminated with holiday décor.
