HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Kamehameha Maui Warriors had a singular vision at the beginning of the season return to the State Championship for the fourth time in five years.

After dropping their season opener to Damien, the Warriors have run the table with one game between them and a second-straight Division II title.

“This is gonna be what game 12, so there’s probably nothing new that we haven’t seen already.”

Long-time head coach Ulima Afoa is trying to keep his squad calm in the face of program history.

“Let’s just make sure that whatever we do, we allow our kids not to put too much thought,” Coach Afoa told Hawaii News Now. “Play fast, play hard, and just have fun.”

The boys from Pukalani have been led by sophomore quarterback Kekoa Keau-Davis.
