SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A colder air mass of High pressure is moving into the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. We’ll have an inland freeze Friday and Saturday mornings. Protect the pets and plants, and please be smart when using portable heating devices.
Daybreak Friday: 30° inland from Hampton to Claxton, 33° Savannah, and 37° for the beaches. Afternoon highs will struggle to reach the mid to upper 50s with abundant sunshine. A light breeze of 10mph out of the NW will make it feel a few degrees colder than the actual air temperatures in the morning.
Saturday: 35/57 with mostly sunny skies and a NE breeze at 10mph, so still will feel colder in the morning.
That High pressure shifts east of shore and our temperatures will begin to rebound. A weak cold front will try to produce some rain the
