The Met Office has predicted a fall in temperatures on Friday in Darlington.
After reaching 14C on Thursday, temperatures are expected to drop to 8C by 9am on Friday, November 28.
The day will start with clear skies, but light showers are expected from 9am onwards.
The showers are forecast to continue throughout the day and into the night.
The chance of rain will increase from 10 per cent at 9am to 70 per cent by 9pm.
Winds will be relatively mild, ranging from 13mph to 17mph throughout the day.
The temperature will remain steady at around 8C to 9C during the day, dropping to 7C in the evening.
The Met Office has also forecast a partly cloudy night after the showers.
