Black Friday is upon us! It’s a major shopping event that takes place in the United States every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving. This year, Black Friday is Nov. 28.
This is typically when people begin their holiday shopping season, and retailers offer huge discounts both online and in-store. However, Black Friday has grown bigger than just one day. Typically, deals will start to appear throughout November, especially during the week of Thanksgiving and into Cyber Monday, a day highlighting online-exclusive discounts.
Amazon, for example, started its Black Friday week deals on Nov. 20, and they run until Dec. 1. Many products on Amazon are being discounted right now, including rotating “Lightning Deals,” which highlight different products for a limited time.
