BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

WVTM 13 is learned new details about a Cullman attorney’s attempts to kill her husband. Sara Baker was arrested Tuesday night and is charged with multiple counts.

According to court documents, Baker started planning to kill her husband back at the beginning of September. The attempts on her husband’s life lasted off and on for a month,

and that’s what led to her arrest earlier this week.

On September 1, documents said Baker met with someone to start planning her husband’s murder. She even talked to them about getting fentanyl to do it.

Just three days later, the complaint said she attempted to take her husband’s life. She’s accused of putting what detectives believe to be fentanyl in her husband’s food or drink. The documents said her husband was physically impaired
