The Colorado Health Institute released its biennial survey on Wednesday, offering a snapshot of health care and access across the state, from Mesa County to Weld County.

According to the 2025 Colorado Health Access Survey , there is plenty to celebrate, like improved mental well-being and behavioral health care access, but many gaps remain, like the persistent financial barriers to receiving critical services.

While CHI Data and Analysis Manager Lindsey Whittington said that Mesa County data were largely in line with statewide results, there were a few notable differences, such as higher access to certain services.
