CAMPBELL, Mo. (KAIT) - Investigators believe arson as the cause of a church fire.

The Campbell Volunteer Fire Department responded to the the General Baptist Church at the corner of Haynes & Franklin to a fire.

“The church was vacant and had already previously had a section burned two years ago,” the Facebook post said.

The Campbell Police Department along with the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident after it’s believed arson to be the cause.

Campbell Volunteer Fire Department reported no injuries.
