TOLEDO, Ohio — Ahead of the Ohio State University vs. University of Michigan game Saturday, the states' respective governors and lieutenant governors are offering up a bit of a wager for each of their teams.
As the Buckeyes and Wolverines get ready to face off in their annual rivalry game, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer have each put forth a bet: This year, the winning governor will take home an assortment of delicious, crunchy snacks representing their rival's state.
According to a press release from Whitmer's office, both governors are wagering potato chips. From Michigan, this includes "Better Made" from Detroit, "Great Lakes Potato Chips" from Traverse City and "Downey's Potato Chips" from Waterford.
Meanwhile, DeWine is wagering Conn's Potato Chips
