AUSTIN, Texas — A man is in the hospital after a fight that led to a shooting early Friday morning in a North Austin parking lot.

According to the Austin Police Department (APD), officers responded at around 1 a.m. a shooting outside a bar on 9515 N. Lamar Blvd.

Once on scene, officers located a man in his 20s who was injured after being shot several times. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.

Police say they saw two potential suspects leave the scene, but that they have since been detained. Their identities have not been made public at this time.

It's unclear exactly what led up to the incident or if anyone else was involved.
