MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Drivers traveling a portion of Interstate 24 westbound in Massac County may want to find an alternate route on Friday morning, November 28.

According to the Illinois Department of Transportation online travel map, westbound I-24 is closed from the U.S. 45 Metropolis exit ramp to Big Bay Road because of a crash.

Details about the crash and how long the closure will last are not clear.

Drivers may want to detour by taking Route 145 and U.S. 45.
