A dad has been jailed after a "profoundly stupid" incident in which a gun he was hiding was found by his child before misfiring and killing his pregnant partner.

Kiara Ferguson, 27, died on the floor of her bathroom at the home she shared with Adam Winmar and their children in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia , after she was shot just below the eye.
