A car has been torched in an early-hours firebombing in a Scots town. ‌

Emergency services raced to the blaze on Hilton Road, Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, at 2am on Friday. The fire was extinguished by fire crews and there were no reported injuries. ‌

Police say they are treating the incident as deliberate . Images from the scene show the vehicle engulfed in flames on a driveway on the street. ‌

Inquiries remain ongoing. ‌

Officers have urged anybody with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10am on Friday, 28 November, 2025, we received a report of a car on fire on Hilton Road, Milngavie.
