Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse is down to its last game of a tumultuous season. After winning nine regular-season games in Fran Brown’s first year, the Orange is playing to avoid a last-place finish in the ACC.

Saturday is the last time seniors such as Duce Chestnut, Devin Grant, Dan Villari and Jack Stonehouse will play at the JMA Wireless Dome. Their senior year didn’t go as expected, but they’ll be playing to avoid finishing the season on an eight-game losing streak.

The opponent couldn’t be more fitting.

Last season’s loss to Boston College was significant in Syracuse’s ACC championship race. Now, both teams have hit rock bottom and have to go through each other to end 2025 on a positive note.
