WESTBROOK, Maine — First things first, if you'd like to meet Ziva you'll want to email dogs@arlgp.org, because she's currently staying at a foster home.
Sometimes shelter dogs need a break from campus, and the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland works with its wonderful foster families to help some of these pets just relax on a couch and get some extra love for a while.
Now to the details of this sweet girl.
Ziva is just over 2-years-old. The ARLGP says she's a little bit sensitive and would do well in a home that helps her feel safe and loved.
This 57-pound pup can do an apartment in a quieter neighborhood, but she's just not meant to be a city girl. High-traffic areas can be a little bit scary for Ziva, and she'd thrive in a calmer home where she can really come into her own.
