A group of Edinburgh teenagers have been charged after the attempted theft of an e-bike on a city street.
On October 6, the incident gained widespread, national attention after the masked group allegedly carried out the shameful act at St Andrew Square.
The five males - aged between 16 and 19, have been cautioned and charged with attempted theft and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Edinburgh Live previously reported the brazen gang were filmed allegedly using a power tool in an attempt to steal the bike in front of shocked locals in broad daylight.
Several members of the group appearing to be riding the new Voi hire bikes with their faces covered.
