A restaurant has opened in a Kent town which once had a Chinese eatery which closed to the dismay of residents. Now, there's a new kid on the culinary block, Buddha of Westerham.
It opened this month in Market Square - in fact, it has moved into the former home of the much-missed restaurant, Chow's. Buddah of Westerham is serving traditional Chinese dishes in a contemporary setting.
Westerham is around five miles from affluent town Sevenoaks . Simon Dewhurst, the owner of Buddha of Westerham, said chef Arthur Chan has "years of experience leading kitchens in critically acclaimed restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore".
