A Powerball player in Cape May County won $1 million in Wednesday night’s drawing after matching all five white balls, lottery officials said.
The winner missed only the Powerball number.
The winning ticket was sold at Starns Village Super Market (ShopRite of Rio Grade), 1700 Route 47 south, lottery officials said. The winning numbers were 07, 08, 15, 19 and 28. The Power Ball was 03, and the multiplier was 03, according to the lottery.
No player won the jackpot, which has now grown to $719 million for Saturday’s drawing. The cash value is $333.3 million, officials said.
Since Sept. 8, when the current run began, 22 New Jersey players have won prizes of at least $50,000, including two $1 million wins in Cape May and Camden counties and two $100,000 prizes in Morris and Warren counties.
In Wednesday’s Double Play drawing, the numbers were 06, 19, 28, 39 and 53, and the Double Play ball was 15. The Double Play top prize is $10 million, officials said.
