Police are appealing for information after a council worker was attacked on duty.
The victim was said to have been emptying a bin opposite Lidl on Moseley Road, Balsall Heath, when he was attacked by two men between 7am and 7.40am on Wednesday, November 26.
West Midlands Police officers attended and he was treated for facial injuries.

One of the victim's colleagues was said to have come to his aid but was also injured during the unprovoked incident.
The force asked anyone who witnessed the attack or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage to make contact.
