Four play parks in a County Durham town are to be improved after receiving a £10,000 funding boost.
West Chilton Terrace Junior Park, Pentlands Playground, Oak Crescent Playground and South View Playground in Chilton will all be improved and have broken equipment replaced.

The money has been allocated to Chilton Town Council from Cllr Stephen Bowron, through his Councillor Grant Fund, which is overseen by Durham County Council’s Local Network for Coxhoe, Ferryhill and Spennymoor areas.
