FINDLAY — The last brown bag lecture of the year at the Hancock Historical Museum features a presentation on the holiday classic film It’s a Wonderful Life.
Chuck Coletta, a popular culture professor at Bowling Green State University, will explore the idea that the 1946 film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed is much more than a Christmas classic.
The Dec. 4 lecture begins at noon at the museum at 422 W. Sandusky St. No registration is required. Members attend free. Non-members pay the regular museum admission of $5. Attendees can bring a lunch.
On Dec. 19, as part of the museum’s classic movie night series, the film will be shown free at 7 p.m. with popcorn and a historical discussion.
Call the museum at 419-423-4433 for more information.
