Woodcliff Lake police issued an alert Friday morning, Nov. 28, after a coyote was seen in a residential neighborhood.
The sighting was reported in the area of Werimus Road and Glen Road, according to the department.
“Please be advised that a coyote was observed in the area of Werimus Road and Glen Road,” police said in the alert. “We urge all residents who live in the area to be vigilant when taking pets outside.”
Police said Bergen County Animal Control has been notified of the incident.
No additional information was released.
