An 80-year-old woman died on Thanksgiving night in a two-vehicle crash , the York County coroner announced.

Dispatch said the crash happened around 5:37 p.m. on Thursday. The coroner’s report said they were dispatched for a two-vehicle crash in the area of Delta and Snyder Roads in Chanceford Township. A GMC Envoy was traveling south on Delta Road when a Subaru Outback traveling north entered the south-bound lane in an attempt to pass another vehicle and hit the Envoy head-on.

The 80-year-old woman was in the front seat of the Envoy, with a seat-belt on, during the crash. She was pronounced dead at 7 p.m.

Her cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy scheduled for 8 a.m. on Nov. 29 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Her name will be released after family has been notified.
