I need help navigating a situation that I had at the Wheeler Opera House the other night when I went to go see Iris DeMent. Little did I know I had a scalped ticket until I went to the box office and found out that it was a third-party ticket, apparently bought by somebody else. This person decided to sell it online, making it look like it was a ticket sold by the Wheeler Opera House. I paid $120 for a $45-$65 ticket because I did not care what the price of the ticket was to see DeMent, my heroine.
I was pretty livid when I found out I had been taken. I was very grateful that my ticket did work and I could go to the concert. The audience behind me was not very polite and I had to shush them like a schoolteacher a few times and then gave up as I wanted to just concentrate on the b
