Tony Germano, an actor best known for his Portuguese voiceover work, has died, according to reports. He was 55.
Germano died on Wednesday, Nov. 26, following a fatal fall at his home, a representative for the actor confirmed to People magazine in a statement published Friday.
"It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of actor and voice artist Tony Germano," Germano's representative told the magazine. "Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries."
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Germano and Netflix for comment.
According to Brazilian outlets Folha de S.Paulo and Estadão, Germano fell while working on renovations for a residence owned by his parents.
Germano's representative said a memorial service for the late actor took place on Thursday at the Bosque da Paz Cemetery in São Paulo.
"We kindly ask for respect and understanding during this painful time for his family, friends and colleagues," the rep told People. "Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His absence will be deeply felt."
Germano lent his vocal talent to Portuguese-language dubs of children's shows, such as Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn" and Netflix's canine comedy "Go, Dog. Go!", according to Folha de S.Paulo and Estadão. Per the outlets, he also appeared on the soundtrack of Disney's 2017 live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast."
Aside from his voiceover work, Germano starred in the horror films "As Núpcias de Drácula" and "Phantom Summer" and had a supporting role in the musical drama "An Unforgettable Year: Autumn."
