NAPLES, Fla. — Florida Senator Rick Scott says there was an attempted swatting incident at his home on Thanksgiving, according to his social media.

In a post on X, Scott said he received a call from local law enforcement Thursday morning about the incident at his family's home. He said he was not there at the time.

Naples police confirmed with 10 Tampa Bay News that officers received the report just before 1 a.m., and were able to contact Scott's family and confirm they were safe. NPD did a full search of his home to ensure everything was okay.
