Passengers travelling from Glasgow Central Station tonight (November 28) may face some disruption after trespassers were spotted on the railway.
The trespassers were seen on the tracks at Milliken Park which caused several lines from Glasgow Central to be affected. Disruption could continue into the evening, Scotrail has confirmed.
Services affected include:
Glasgow Central to Ayr
Glasgow Central to Ardrossan Harbour
Glasgow Central to Largs
Glasgow Central to Gourock
Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay
While services are to run as scheduled, Scotrail has stated on X that 'disruption to services will still be ongoing until our staff and trains are back in position.'
The rail service has arranged for train tickets to be accepted on local bus routes with Stagecoach on all bus routes i
