Detroit – A back-and-forth thriller took place in the Division 4 football final Friday, and Dearborn Divine Child did enough to hold on for an impressive 23-22 win over Hudsonville Unity Christian.
Though scoring only took place in two quarters, the entire game was action-packed. Sophomore Drew Sheridan put up an amazing performance in the air, finishing 19-for-25 passing for 241 yards and two touchdowns. He went up against a tough Unity Christian ground game, with the team gaining 332 total rushing yards on 66 attempts, led by Lucas Elliott's 115 yards.
