A beloved New Orleans Marigny noodle shop finally closed it doors for good after diners unsuccessfully hoped for a little more time to order a meal before saying goodbye.
Bao and Noodle shared two weeks ago that it would close its doors in November in, giving customers a few weeks to get a last fix. And though fans assumed they’d have until the Saturday after Thanksgiving to get there, the restaurant shared Tuesday it was closing after that dinner service.
Doug Crowell opened the restaurant in 2014 at 2700 Chartres St. and moved to 2266 St. Claude Ave. in 2019. The restaurant was known for its hand-pulled noodles that would often be the star of an inexpensive yet filling meal.
