The National Weather Service issued a report at 3:17 p.m. on Friday for lake effect snow until 4 p.m. for Rensselaer, Columbia and Washington counties.
"At 3:17 p.m., a lake effect snow band was near Berlin, or 12 miles east of Troy moving east at 30 MPH," says the weather service.
Expect lake effect snow in the following locations:
Berlin around 3:20 p.m.
Williamstown around 3:30 p.m.
North Adams around 3:35 p.m.
Adams around 3:45 p.m.
Monroe and Florida around 3:50 p.m.
