Nightly Lane Reductions From Dec. 1–5 Will Slow Traffic as Crews Install K-Rails and Median Barriers
Overnight lane reductions are planned next week on Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda Pass as crews continue major pavement rehabilitation work, transportation officials said. The closures will allow for K-rail installation and median barrier construction along one of the region’s busiest freeway corridors.
The work on the 405 will increase in the coming two weeks.
The work is scheduled nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 5 , and will affect both directions of the freeway. Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and possible delays in the following areas:
Northbound I-405
Up to two lanes between Wilshire Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive/M
