STEELE, Mo. (WSIL) -- A tenth earthquake hit a small region in an eight-day stretch. The latest being a 1.9 tremor which hit in Pemiscot County on Friday.
The quake hit roughly four miles east north-east of Steele at 1:51 a.m. on November 28. This quake joins nine previous small tremors which hit the area of Mississippi County, New Madrid County and Lake County, Tennessee, in a seven day period.
