ALBEMARLE, N.C. — A man is in the hospital after a shooting late Friday night in Albemarle.
Albemarle Police said it happened around 10:40 p.m. along Coggins Avenue. Officers found the man suffering of an apparent gunshot wound and offered aid immediately. The man was then taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Officers said they haven't identified a suspect as of Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, but evidence has been collected. There is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
