Irish hip hop group Kneecap have announced that they are taking legal action against Canadian MP Vince Gasparro after he accused the group of heightening "political violence" and "publicly [displaying support for terrorist [groups."
The group, who are known for their satirical lyrics, were due to perform in Toronto and Vancouver last month, but were banned after the MP in question, publicly made the allegations.
He claimed that Kneecap were seemingly supporting terrorist groups such as "Hezbollah and Hamas."
