CLEVELAND, Ohio — Mount Union’s Mikey Maloney racked up a career-high six total touchdowns in a lopsided 49-7 victory over Muhlenberg on Saturday afternoon in the NCAA Division III playoffs second round at Kehres Stadium, on the campus of Mount Union.
Maloney, a 2025 graduate of Riverside, saved his best work for the postseason as he threw for 302 yards and three scores, then added three rushing scores to his tally in a show of force against the Mules.
Quickly and efficiently burying the Mules, the Purple Raiders scored on their first five possessions of the game. In all, the Purple Raiders punted just twice.
