The Michigan Wolverines were outclassed by the Ohio State Buckeyes, 27-9, on Saturday afternoon in the Big House. Michigan’s first loss to Ohio State since 2019 was a pretty lopsided affair, especially in the second half.
Michigan was outscored by Ohio State in the final 30 minutes of the game, 10-0. In the second half, the Buckeyes also had more total yards (198-39), rushing yards (110 to -8), passing yards (88-47) first downs (10-3), third downs (5-of-10 compared to 0-of-4), total plays (40-18) and time of possession (23:40 to 6:20).
