A driver spun across several lanes of traffic and into a ditch while navigating I-88 Saturday amid a heavy snowstorm that blanketed the greater Chicago area, dashcam footage showed.

Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a driver traveling eastbound on I-88 near Downers Grove lost control of their vehicle and slid across three lanes of traffic into a ditch alongside the highway, dashcam video captured by an NBC 5 photographer showed.

The driver begins to swerve while traveling in the second from the farthest left lane, and seconds later slides to the right across two lanes of traffic and into a ditch, video showed.

No injuries were reported in the crash, Illinois State Police said.
