Most people who call the Okanagan Valley home recognize the world-class beauty and over the past many years, so have filmmakers and television producers from across the country and around the world.
During a presentation to the board of directors with the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen last week Jon Summerland, commissioner with the Okanagan Film Commission informed the board of just how popular this region has become for the movie and television industry in Canada.
Summerland was joined by Gord Wylie, the location services officer for the OFC, which has been involved in the film and television industry for this region for over three decades.
