Man, 54, found dead inside Queens apartment building

Police discovered a man dead inside a Queens apartment building on Saturday.

Cops were called to the scene around 1:39 p.m. at Woodward Ave. and Bleecker St. in Ridgewood , where the 54-year-old man was found unresponsive with an unknown powder nearby, cops said.

EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

According to PIX11, it was the FDNY, which also responded to the scene, that found the powder — and tested it, determining it to be fentanyl.

No arrests have been made.

The city’s medical examiner is determining the man’s cause of death.
