Investigators increased the number of victims to 15 in a mass shooting at a child's birthday party in Stockton. Four people are dead and 11 others are hospitalized after a violent attack that investigators believe was targeted, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

Heather Brent, a sheriff's office spokesperson, said Sunday that the ages of those who were killed were 8, 9, 14 and 21.

Brent said the shooting took place just before 6 p.m. at a banquet hall in Stockton where a child's birthday party was happening with between 100 and 150 people in attendance.

A suspect, or suspects, are still at large, the sheriff's office confirmed. Brent would not comment on a possible gang connection to the shooting or share more details
